About Me

Serial Studio Soaps is a one-woman operation. There’s no warehouse. No production team. No investors. Just me — working a full-time job, finishing graduate school, and pouring wax or cutting soap late at night when the house is quiet and everything else is done.

I didn’t start this to build a “luxury brand.” I started because I fell in love with the science. Cold process soap is chemistry. Lotions are chemistry. Fragrance blending is chemistry. There's something grounding about understanding how oils transform, how scent notes unfold, and how small formulation changes can completely shift performance. I don’t just want products that smell good — I want products that work well and that make people happy.

Some nights, this looks like spreadsheets and scent testing. Other nights, it looks like pouring melts at 10 PM after studying, then waking up at 5 AM to start my full-time job. Sometimes it’s re-labeling a batch because it didn’t feel quite right.

Every product here was poured, labeled, photographed, and uploaded by the same hands. I'm building this business while putting myself through graduate school. That means growth can be slow, but also steady and intentional. Inventory is small-batch. Restocks take time. Nothing here is rushed. This isn’t a factory. It’s late nights. It's learning curves. It’s trial and error. And sometimes it's tears and frustration. But behind it all is the pride in getting it right.

If you’ve purchased something from this shop, you’re not just buying a product — you’re supporting someone investing in her education, her craft, and her future. And that means more than you probably realize. Thank you for being here. Thank you for supporting handmade. And thank you for supporting small business.
